Old City and the Caspian Sea

On Saturday we visited the Maiden Tower but to also explore the Old City. We zigzagged our way through the little streets of Baku while visiting many of the little street vendors. After we finished exploring the Old City we went across the street to the boardwalk that was along the water. The Caspian Sea is so beautiful, it is so bright blue. I can’t wait to spend more time down by the water.

Cute little stone animals

I think this place is a restaurant but that is not the point of this picture. I just love the design and intricate details of this beautiful building. I'm pretty sure I stared at it for a good solid five minutes.
