Tbilisi, Georgia

Last weekend, we visited Tbilisi, Georgia. Tbilisi is an absolutely gorgeous city and the people are so friendly. We arrived in Tbilisi midday Thursday and left early Sunday morning. While we were there we went to Freedom Square, rode the Gondola, rode the Funicular, wandered the streets of Old Tbilisi and ate a lot of wonderful Georgian food. I definitely recommend this city to anyone.

Bread with an egg and a feta-like cheese. This is a very Georgian type of food. Like pizza to us this can be filled/topped with lots of ingredients.

Very close to pizza, but it is filled and topped with cheese.

This is how the waitress brought out our bill. I just love the leather cup with the restaurant's name on it.
