After visiting the Mosque, we realized that we were very hungry so we started talking about where to eat. Mom suggested that Mila takes us to a restaurant that served very traditional Azerbaijani food. Mom cooks all of our meals we so we really haven't had a chance to taste some traditional Azerbaijani food since arriving in Baku. Mila took us to a very beautiful restaurant called the Shah Restaurant that was located in Baku. Mila helped us order some traditional Azerbaijani dishes, all the dishes were so delicious and beautifully plated.

The bread here in Azerbaijan is so fresh and taste so good

Eggplant salad, it tasted so delicious and look how beautiful it looks.

The soup had little meat filled pockets in the broth

Inside this little pot was dolma which is little meat filled balls wrapped in grape leaves

The Dolma was absolutely delicious. If you have had Greek food before it reminded us of stuffed grape leaves but in miniature form and without the rice.
