How Many People Does it Take to Find a Pharmacy?

Last Friday Mom and I went to the Embassy to pick up our diplomatic packages and to pick up Robin's medicine from the pharmacy. Mom and I rode a taxi over to the pharmacy and then from there we would walk to the embassy. The doctor at the SOS Hospital said that the pharmacy was near the embassy so after we passed the Embassy we knew we were close. The taxi driver couldn't find the pharmacy so, he pulled over to ask another taxi driver. After about ten minutes, Mom eventually told the taxi driver to just simply drop us off at the Embassy and we would figure out directions to the pharmacy on our own. (Count: 2)
Amy, one of the Embassy workers, came out and Mom asked her to see if she knew where the pharmacy was, but she didn’t know. Shortly after, one of the security guards let us in. While we were waiting for all the boxes to be brought out to us, Mom asked the inside security guards if they knew where the pharmacy was. Four security guards talked in Azerbaijani to see if they would find the pharmacy but they weren't sure where it was. Ramina and her intern (whose name I didn’t catch) came out with the rest of our boxes, then the six of them tried to figure out where the pharmacy was. They came to a conclusion that it was up to the street and to the left. Ramina asked her intern to go with us so we could find the pharmacy. (Count: 9)
The intern, Mom and I left the Embassy to try and find the pharmacy. We walked up the street a little bit and then the intern asked a taxi driver if he knew where the pharmacy was. I didn’t hear what she said since it was all in Azerbaijani but I assumed we were on the right track because we continued up the street. After about five minutes we turned left at the little park and then left again down the street parallel to the one we were on. The intern asked another taxi driver to see if he knew where the pharmacy was. The taxi driver knew what we were talking about wasn’t sure where it was. Then one of the security guards was out smoking a cigarette when he came over to see what was the matter. Between the taxi and the security driver, we found the pharmacy that would have Robin’s medicine. (Count: 12)
We FINALLY found the pharmacy after asking 12 different people. After we received Robin’s medicine, we headed back to the Embassy to pick up our diplomatic boxes. It would have been nice to find the pharmacy without asking so many people but I’m glad we did because there was a problem with the medicine and the pharmacist needed to call the doctor to make sure the dosages were right, without the intern we would’ve not known what to do or what she was asking.
So if any of you guessed 12 you were right. (I am giving you a high five for your good guessing) :)
